Ian Shardlow
Engineering Consultant

With over 18 years of experience in earthworks, civil engineering, construction (Industrial, Commercial, Retail) and rail, Ian Shardlow brings a wealth of expertise to the field. Ian has advanced from Site Engineer to Geomatics Operations Manager at one of the UK’s leading contractors.
Ian is known for his passion for integrating digital solutions to streamline project workflows and ensure precise, practical engineering at every stage. His areas of expertise include Site Control Networks, GNSS site setup and surveying, topographical surveying, volume calculations, setting out, machine control diagnostics, 3D model creation, and project monitoring.
An advanced user of LSS software and highly proficient with Leica, Trimble, and Topcon equipment, Ian is also skilled in training site engineers to maximize the performance of their surveying tools, driving both efficiency and quality on-site.

Peter has 30 years’ experience working in Civil Engineering contracting working in Highways, Water, Marine and Public Realm sectors working for a range of Tier 1 and Tier 2 contractors.
Starting his career as a Site Engineer. Pete has progressed to Senior Contracts Manager whereby he has a high-level working knowledge of dealing with multiple stakeholders both in pre-contract and ECI through to delivery of project portfolios north of £50m.
A good command of the NEC, Pete is also an excellent pragmatic leader who can overcome complex problems in challenging environments, bringing together the client, design team, project team and supply chain to achieve success via outside of the box thinking.
